Product description
Body composition monitor BC-731 TANITA.
The BIA, bioimpedance analysis, provides personalised readouts to the user. The BIA measures body composition sending a safe low frequency signal all over the body from the 4 electrodes located in the scale base. This signal flows in the muscular tissue liquid but comes across the resistance of the fat tissue. Such resistance, known as Bioimpedance, is measured with accuracy and the results are analysed according to the sex, height and weight of the user to provide a personal readout of fat and body composition values.
The BIA accuracy depends on the number and size of the base electrodes. Four electrodes are needed to grant the maximum accuracy in body fat readouts. Tanita has tested more than 100,000 individuals of all weights, heights, sexes and ages to grant the maximum accuracy.
