Product description
AUTO-CPAP apnea equipment.
AUTO-CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) device designed only for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treatment.
Treatment:
AutoCPAP allows to perform the following treatments (3 functions):
- CPAP mode: continuous positive airway pressure is delivered; CPAP maintains a constant level of pressure throughout the respiratory cycle. If a doctor prescribes ramp for you, you can press the Ramp button to reduce the pressure and then gradually increase it so that you can fall asleep more comfortably.
- Auto mode: CPAP treatment with an air pressure not lower than the prescribed one depending on the patient's needs. The pressure is automatically adjusted according to the intensity of the patient apnea.
- Tritate mode (evaluation): CPAP treatment is delivered while automatically adjusting the pressure level to meet the patient's needs. It is used to determine the optimal fixed CPAP pressure for the patient. This option is located in the maintenance menu and can only be accessed by the local supplier. The device will help you find the right pressure by using data achieved 95% of the patient usage period. The resulting upper and lower values will determine the pressure to be used on a regular basis for a specific user.
