Safety devices

  1. Breaker.
Protects the equipment against power supply failures.
    Action: Interrupts power supply.
  2. Thermal circuit breakers.
Protection against potential short circuits and overheating in the primary transformer network.
Action: Temporary interruption (until the temperature has dropped) in the winding.
  3. Safety valve.
Protection against a potential pressure increase within the chamber.
Action: Steam release until the restoration of a normal pressure level.
  4. Micro switch to control the state of the door.
Controls the door's adjustement to start a sterilisation cycle.
Action: Transmits the signal to warn about the incorrect position of the door
  5. Thermostat for heating resistors in the steam generator.
Protection against a potential overheating in the heating resistors within the steam generator.
Action: interrupts the power supply to the heating resistors within the steam generator.
  6. Thermostat for heating resistors in the chamber.
Protection against a potential overheating in the heating resistors within the chamber.
Action: interrupts the power supply to the heating resistors within the chamber.
  7. Auto leveling of the hydraulic system.
The hydraulic system returns to its natural pressure if the sterilisation cycle is interrupted manually.
Action: the internal pressure is restored automatically.
  8. Door lock
Effective protection to prevent the accidental opening of the door.
Action: Prevents door opening through an hydraulic locking system.

Autoclave use step by step:

1- Open the door, take the instruments and accessories that are within the sterilisation chamber, unwrap them and clean them.

2- Plug the power cord to a suitable power source .

3- Plug the printer (optional).

4- Switch on: The main switch is located on the right bottom of the front area of the device.

  • Once activated, the LCD screen is on, where the basic operation icons of the machine appear, such as the door position, the water level, the sterilization programme, the date, the time, etc.

5- Fill in the tank with distilled water.

  • Remove the top lid and fill it, if you hear a prompt, it  means that  the permitted level of water in the tank has been exceeded , please stop immediately and drain the amount of water necessary to turn the prompt off.

6- Preparation of the sterilisation material:

  • Place the instruments that are made of different materials in different trays, however make sure to separate them before the sterilisation.
  • If the instruments are not made of stainless steel, put some sterilisation paper between the tray and the instruments.
  • Do not allow direct contact between instruments made of different materials.
  • Verify that all instruments are in the correct position.
  • Place instruments such as lenses, containers, tubes, etc. inverted, so that water does not stagnate within them.
  • Do not overload trays.
  • Do not overlap the trays, nor put them in direct contact with the wall of the sterilization chamber.
  • Do not use metal clips or pins, this may impair the operation of the steriliser.

7- Select the sterilisation programme.

8- Start the sterilisation cycle.

  • After selecting the sterilisation programme, insert instruments into the chamber in the trays, using the plastic handle supplied.
  • Once the instruments are located within the chamber, close the door by turning the knob.
  • Caution: Be sure to turn the doorknob to its maximum position, otherwise the steriliser displays an alarm and the programme cannot start or stops during the cycle.

9- Start the sterilisation programme.

  • Press the start button, then the steriliser starts operating during approximately 30-75 minutes.

10- After completion of the sterilisation cycle

  • Once the sterilisation cycle ends, the printer (optional), prints automatically the full cycle report.
  • After the pressure drops to zero, you can open the door and remove the instruments. The steriliser emits a beep once the sterilisation cycle is completed.
  • Caution: When you remove the instruments, use the supplied plastic handle for supporting trays.

  • There must be at least 10 cm of free space around the steriliser, 25 cm at the top, and enough room for the door to be opened.
  • The place where the steriliser is used must be well ventilated.
  • The steriliser must be placed on a resistant table and at an adequate height for handling it.
  • Do not cover nor block the lateral outlets or the air outlet in the condenser fan.
  • Do not place the steriliser near water sources where it can be splashed.
  • Keep away from heat sources.
